WELDING PROCEDURE SPECIFICATION (WPS)

The welding engineer shall prepare the list of welding procedures required for the project based on the piping bill of materials. The welding engineer shall give due consideration to the existing WPSs that are available with the PCR.

The welding engineer shall thoroughly study the project scope of work and project specification for welding before compiling the required WPS for CS, SS and DSS materials. The welding engineer shall prepare a weld summary sheet and submit it to the client for review/approval.
