RELEASE FOR HYDRO TEST (HT)

After the acceptance of fit-up, visual, NDT and weld summary records, the completed piping spools shall be released for hydro testing (with flanged piping spools). Release for hydro testing shall be given by QC inspector and/or QC engineer.

DOs

• Check the completion/acceptance of all NDT works.
• Check the approval status of all fit-up, visual and NDT reports.
• Check the completion of weld summary sheet and NDT percentage.
• Check for the completion of all pending repairs.

DON’Ts

• Don’t release the piping spools if the documents are not signed by client.
• Don’t release the piping spools if NDT/PWHT has not been completed.
• Don’t release the piping spools if any repair is pending on that spool.
