DRAWING CONTROL
Drawing control activity shall be carried out as follows:
a) Control of drawings issued by client
- All client-supplied drawings shall be maintained separately with a drawing control register maintained by DCC.
- Controlled copy (red stamped) of the drawings shall be distributed with a “Transmittal” to the relevant discipline manager/engineer and subcontractor.
- Any revision/amendment shall be re-issued to the controlled copy holders, and the obsolete revision shall be withdrawn by DCC.
b) Control of drawings issued by PCR/consultant
- All PCR/consultant-supplied drawings shall be maintained separately with a drawing control register maintained by DCC.
- Controlled copy (red stamped) of the drawings shall be distributed with a “Transmittal” to the relevant discipline manager/engineer and subcontractor.
- Any revision/amendment shall be re-issued to the controlled copy holders and the obsolete revision shall be withdrawn by DCC.
c) Control of drawings issued by vendors
- All vendor-supplied drawings shall be maintained separately with a drawing control register maintained by DCC.
- Controlled copy (red stamped) of the drawings shall be distributed with a “Transmittal” to the relevant discipline manager/engineer and subcontractor.
- Any revision/amendment shall be re-issued to the controlled copy holders and the obsolete revision shall be withdrawn by DCC.

The following shall be ensured during drawing control activity:
DOs
- Check for the latest revision of drawings from the drawing control register.
- Use only red stamped controlled copy (received from DCC) for the fabrication/installation activities.
- Return the obsolete drawings to DCC after receiving the latest drawings.
DON’Ts
- Don’t use the “Information” drawings for fabrication/installation.
- Don’t receive any unauthorized drawings/sketches that are not issued through DCC.
- Don’t forget to update the drawings master list daily.
